Well, I must be the biggest, most crazy Penguins fan on earth. My bedroom is covered in head to toe with penguins stuff. I mean, you can't tell a door form a wall, or the floor from the ceiling!

The Penguins were recently defeated by a Flyers team which has to high of a payroll for smaller teams, such as Pittsburgh to compete. Although the series went six games, Pittsburgh didn't have the depth it needed to beat Philadelphia. The Flyers were fortunate enough to be able to spend aproximately $60 million in payroll (compared to about $30 million for the Pens) to get the likes of Tochett, Primeau, Manderville, and also have enough to pay, Recchi, LeClair, Lindros' $10 million, Vanbiesbrook ($3.5 million just to sit on the bench), Jones, Desjardins and Langkow, just to name a few. The Penguins weren't able to pay the salary of Flyers' defencemen Andy Delmore, who single-handedly beat the Penguins in two of the six games during the series, totalling five goals. The Pens had scouted him before the season, but could not offer him a contract, even though it was only $300,000. The Penguins even had to make a trade before the season started, dumping Kevin Hatcher's $3 million salary. Until the NHL comes up with a system similar to the NFL's salary cap, the Penguins will have a hard time competing against larger market teams, such as Philadelphia, Dallas, Detroit and Colorado.

Hi guys, I was just wanted to tell all of you, I am so proud to be a Penguin fan. You guys are doing so well in the playoffs. I was at the game Tuesday night. I live in West Virginia so it is hard to get to many of the games, but when I do I really enjoy myself. Thank you Mario for keeping the Pens in Pittsburgh, I would be lost if I didn't have my favorite team to go see. Good Luck the rest of the way, and thanks for Great Hockey.

I am the BIGGEST fan of Mathew Barnaby. He is the greatest and the hottest Penguins player there has ever been! He is a great player and is exciting to watch. I recently went to the Penguins game with my family and I yelled down to Barnaby durring plays, because we were so close he had heard me and looked right at me too! During periods, right wheb they came out to the bench, my friend and I walked to to the glass and spoke with him, before he went out to play. If you ever have any pictures of Barnaby please send them to me. Thank you.
